Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use Gumreel we collect:

• Account info: email address, name, and authentication data managed by Clerk.
• Usage data: product URLs you submit, images and files you upload, prompts, generated outputs, credit balance, and billing history.
• Payment data: Stripe handles all payment processing. We receive a customer ID and transaction records but never store raw card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and standard server logs collected automatically.

2. How we use it

We use your data to:

• Deliver the service — process your requests and generate outputs
• Manage your account, credits, and billing
• Improve the product and diagnose bugs
• Send transactional emails (receipts, credit alerts, important updates)
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your submitted content to train AI models without explicit consent.

3. Third-party services we use

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Supabase — database and file storage (hosted in the US)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Fal.ai / Seedance — AI video and image generation (your prompts and reference images are sent to their API)
• Anthropic / OpenAI — AI text generation for creative briefs
• ScrapeCreators — ad intelligence data (your search phrases are sent to their API)
• Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data passed to their services.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated videos and storyboards stored in Supabase Storage are retained for up to 90 days and may be deleted after that. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email beau@gumreel.ai.

6. Cookies

We use cookies set by Clerk for authentication sessions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data (HTTPS, encrypted storage, access controls). No method is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Gumreel is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
